Lactate diagnostics in recreational- and endurance sports

The lactate diagnostics is an important basis to successfully design the training schedule of endurance athletes. Terms like “lactate”, “aerobic” or “anaerobic threshold” might be known by athletes, still it requires experts to determine and analyze those parameters.

With this in-house training you get a detailed look at the range of opportunities lactate diagnostics and its parameters can give you. Experienced sports scientists and performance diagnosticians convey the theoretical basics combined with important practical application examples.

Content

  • Physiological fundamentals of lactate performance diagnostics.
  • Lactate measurement to assess the endurance performance capability.
  • Basics of lactate measuring, preparation, taking blood samples, measuring principles.
  • Introducing and working with different lactate measurement devices.
  • Performing of incremental stress tests; evaluation and analysis of the gathered information.
  • Compiling of training recommendations and training organization based on the test results.
  • Presenting and discussing several test profiles.

Duration

The in-house training is scheduled as a one-day training and our webinars over 1.5 hours. However, we are happy to tailor the scope of individual training courses to your time budget.
