The SRM ergometer wasdesigned for use with cyclists,and was developed in cooperation with the German Cycling Federation, Peter Keen from the British Cycling Federation, and Dr. Wolfgang Stockhausen from the University Hospital Freiburg.

It allows the same measurementtool to be used in thelaboratory as is used in thefield, providing excellent validity.
