In the following the data export of the SRMWin-Software, the data export of the PowerControl IV and the data export of the SRM Torque Software are described.
Contents
Data Export SRMWin-Software
How to export data of the SRMWin-Software:
- To export data, first open the desired data
- Option: File -> Export...
- Choose a memory location and name the new file
- Select a file type
- Save
The handling of the file types
The different file types, you can select, are variably in their use.
Training as data file
Export as „Training as data file“: Only use with SRMWin-Software.
Training as data file (old format)
See: „Training as data file“
Training as text file
The data are saved as txt-format. You can independently use your data without SRMWin-Software.
The structure of the txt-format:
- Header:
- ROW: Zero Offset [Hz], Slope [Hz/Nm], Circumference [mm], Index, (-1)
- ROW: Date, Initials
- ROW: Number of measurements, Interval of storage [sec.], Distance [km], Comments
- List:
- COLUMN: Power [Watt]
- COLUMN: Heartrate [bpm]
- COLUMN: Cadence [rpm]
- COLUMN: Speed [km/h]
- COLUMN: Time
- COLUMN: Numeration
Marker as text file
If you choose the data file „Marker as text file“, you can save the data of a marker. First you have to pick out the marker. Then you are able to save it.
The structure of the txt-format:
- Header:
- ROW: Zero Offset [Hz], Slope [Hz/Nm], Circumference [mm], Index, (-1)
- ROW: Date, Initials
- ROW: Number of measurements, Interval of storage [sec.], Distance [km], Comments
- List:
- COLUMN: Power [Watt]
- COLUMN: Heartrate [bpm]
- COLUMN: Cadence [rpm]
- COLUMN: Speed [km/h]
- COLUMN: Time
- COLUMN: Numeration

Data Export PowerControl IV
You can directly export data of the PCIV to the Ergometer-PC or to another medium.
Caution: All data of the PCIV are exported. The PCIV is measuring the whole time – not only during the measurement.
Data export to an external medium
- Connect the PCIV to the external medium
- Open SRMWin Software and download data – Choose: "Download Data"
- Alternative:
- Option „Powercontrol“ in SRMWin Software
- "Save data (F11)"
- „Save data from…“
- Choose the „Interval of storage“
- Download data and delete data from PCIV: "Delete data from Powercontrol"
- Download data without cleaning the PCIV: "Keep data from Powercontrol"
- Data are saved in SRMWin Software
Export:
Export the data like the normal way from the SRMWin Software (Data Export SRMWin-Software).
OR:
- Option: "Send data to a server"
- Choose the data, which should be export
- Date, profile, initials to synchronize
- Date, profile, initials to synchronize
- (Optional: “Syncronize with Server”)
- To export data: “Export file(s) to Directory”
- Choose a memory location and name the new file
- Select a file type
- Save
